For the first time in 59 years, the Illinois and Notre Dame football teams will meet on the gridiron in 2027. The two programs announced Tuesday that they’ll play a two-year home-and-home series, meeting in South Bend, Indiana, on Sept. 4, 2027, and in Champaign on Sept. 2, 2028.
