Top Quarterbacks of the Season: Who Stands Out?

Other stories of interest

I came across a story. It suggested that the transfer portal be changed to allow only one transfer right after the new year. There would be no extra transfers in the spring. This change is very much needed.

Clearly, the Cowboys are no longer considered America’s team. Just look at the ratings for a team that missed the playoffs. LOL

Everyone discussed how Dallas could have utilized Parsons in the game, considering they only managed one sack. A quick question: how many sacks did Philadelphia have in the game?

It looks like a great NFL season with some exciting early divisional games: (Week one with Dallas vs. Philadelphia, San Francisco vs. Seattle, Kansas City vs. Los Angeles Chargers, and Cincinnati vs. Cleveland).

Some playoff tie-breaking games are already happening. They will also occur in the first few weeks. Week 1 featured Baltimore vs. Buffalo, Week 2 has Washington vs. Green Bay, and Week 3 includes the Rams vs. the Eagles.

Every conference has a strong group of teams that will be vying for the title until the very end. Nevertheless, there isn’t a clear “super team,” as each contender has its own uncertainties and new players in important positions.

Early Season Over-Reacting Coaching Changes

N.Y. Giants lure Nick Saban to town as Head Coach/VP of football operations to replace Brian Daboll.

The Miami Dolphins went with a hot assistant last time. Now they will shift gears. They plan to lure Bill O’Brien away from Boston College to Miami. He will work with his former Alabama QB.

The Florida Gators make a big move by replacing Bill Napier with Matt Campbell, the head coach of Iowa State. This addition means the SEC will finally welcome Campbell. Iowa State can fill Campbell’s position by hiring Chris Ash. He is a former Iowa State player who is now the defensive coordinator at Notre Dame.

The Cleveland Browns part ways with Kevin Stefanski. They have hired Jeff Hafley. He is the former Boston College head coach and current Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator. Hafley earlier served as an assistant for the Browns.

Coach John Harbaugh will be on the hot seat for all the blown 4th quarter losses—something to watch.

Prediction that I don’t think will go wrong. Kansas City will not return to the Super Bowl this year.

That’s all for this week’s games. Check me out on Twitter, Threads, or Bluesky.
